Formula Prototype Challenge Canada were at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park last weekend for a bonus round in the series. The weekend was a last-minute addition to the calendar after being invited by the circuit to attend. And Rilli Racing's Revolution 427s dominated the proceeding with a P1 and P2 in each race.
However, the battle for the lead was not straight forward, and the Revolution pilots put on a stunning nose to tail battle in both races.
Race 1
What a race 1, Rilli Racing's Revolution 427s secured a 1-2 with the winner only being decided on the final lap! Jonathan Labbe and Alan Shaw had an intense nose to tail battle the entire race. Labbe took the lead on the last lap. What a show the Revolution drivers put on!
Race 2
Having led all of race 1 bar the final important lap, Shaw had a point to prove and turned the tables on Labbe in race 2. It was yet another tightly contested duel between Shaw and Labbe. Shaw passed race 1 winner Labbe on the opening lap and the duo ran nose to tail until the chequered flag, this time Shaw holding on to take a well deserved win.
The Rilli Racing Revolution 427s put on dominant display all weekend in the Formula Prototype Challenge!!
