The Sports Prototype Cup opens at Zandvoort with three races on the Formula 1 circuit on 12-14 April. The format has been expanded to include an optional 50 min general test session followed by generous 60 min of practice/qualifying followed by two 25 min sprint races and a 40 min mini-enduro, allowing for solo or two-driver entries. This means that racers can enjoy up to 190 minutes of track time on the full Dutch Grand Prix circuit layout, including the famous banked corners.
