Revolution Race Cars has confirmed Dutch rising star Greaham Hofmans as a Factory Affiliated Driver, strengthening its young driver pathway and expanding its relationship with one of Europe’s most promising prototype racing talents.
The 17-year-old from the Netherlands will be driving for the brand’s UK Factory Works team in a Revolution 500 EVO. Hofman joins Eitan Zidkilov as part of its Factory Works line-up for the remainder of the 2026 Equipe Sports Prototypes series.
Hofmans’ appointment underlines Revolution’s commitment to identifying and supporting ambitious young drivers as they progress into modern prototype racing. His new role as a Factory Affiliated Driver will see him represent the Revolution Race Cars brand while continuing his development in high-performance sports prototype machinery.
Hofmans arrives at Revolution with a varied and fast-moving racing background. He first came to wider attention in the NXT Gen Cup with main support from Bas Koeten Racing, the world’s first 100% electric junior touring car championship, where he joined the inaugural season at just 14 years old as the youngest driver in the field. His early career also included electric karting, with Blue Shock Race and raced in the UK with Rob Smedley’s Total Karting Zero noting that he had been active in karting and had spent two years racing an electric kart before making his first steps into car racing.
Since then, Hofmans has continued to build experience in lightweight, downforce-based machinery. In 2024, he made his Supercar Challenge debut at Zandvoort in a Radical SR1 after a planned NXT Gen Cup appearance at Misano with Formula-E was cancelled, using the weekend to accelerate his transition from electric junior touring cars into prototype-style racing.
His progress continued in 2025 when he made an impressive Radical SR3 debut at Assen. Racing in the Supercar Challenge, Hofmans won both races in his class finished second overall in both races and won the Dutch Prototype Championship overall in 2025, despite it being his first appearance in the more powerful SR3.
The move to Revolution Race Cars marks a significant next step. The Revolution 500 EVO is the company’s flagship lightweight prototype, producing 500+ bhp and 515 Nm of torque from an ~900 kg package. The car has been developed to bring prototype-level performance and safety to a wider racing audience.
As a Factory Affiliated Driver, Hofmans will be positioned as part of Revolution’s wider performance ecosystem rather than simply as a customer driver. The role gives the Dutch teenager a clear association with the manufacturer, its 500 EVO platform and its factory-supported racing activity, while allowing Revolution to support and showcase a young driver already familiar with electric touring cars, Radical machinery and modern prototype-style competition.
For Hofmans, the announcement is another milestone in a career that has developed quickly from karting and electric racing into powerful sports prototypes. For Revolution Race Cars, it adds a young, marketable and ambitious European driver to its factory-affiliated roster at a time when the 500 EVO continues to grow as a platform for both competitive racing and driver development.
Nigel Redwood, MD of Revolution Race Cars explains:
“Greaham is exactly the type of young driver we want to bring closer to Revolution Race Cars. He has already shown strong adaptability across electric racing, Radical machinery and prototype-style cars, and he has the right attitude to keep progressing. Naming him as a Factory Affiliated Driver allows us to support that development while giving him a clear connection to Revolution, the 500 EVO and our wider racing programme.”
Greaham Hofmans added:
“To become a Factory Affiliated Driver with Revolution Race Cars is a very proud moment for me. The 500 EVO is an exciting car and a big step in my development. I have learned a lot from NXT Gen Cup, Radical SR1 and SR3 racing, and now I am looking forward to representing Revolution and continuing to grow as a driver.”
