Revolution Race Cars and Authentic Simulation LLC have released a new progress update on their ongoing project to bring the Revolution 500 EVO and Revolution 427 to leading sim-racing platforms.
Following the previously announced licensing agreement, Authentic Simulation has now completed the full 3D modelling and texturing of the 500 EVO. The development team reports that attention has now shifted to refining the physics models, using the extensive technical datasets provided by Revolution, including engineering records, Life Racing and VBOX telemetry, and CAD files, to ensure the most realistic digital representation possible.
Early previews reveal significant strides in visual accuracy, showcasing the detailed exterior surfaces, cockpit layout, and signature aerodynamic elements that define both models. These latest visuals give sim racers the clearest look yet at how faithfully the cars are being recreated in the virtual world.
With physics development now underway, the project continues to progress on schedule. Authentic Simulation confirms that the Revolution 500 EVO will be released for Assetto Corsa in Winter (Jan) 2026, followed by the 427 in Spring 2026. Both the 500 EVO and the 427 will appear as base content in Autozi Garage (UE sim racing title) and Highway Clash (mobile racing game). In addition, the cars are set to launch as official DLC in a third racing title across PS, Xbox, and PC, with a full announcement coming in the weeks ahead. Authentic Simulation continues reaching out to the larger studios they support with the goal of bringing the 500 EVO and 427 into more games.
More updates, including behind-the-scenes development insights and gameplay footage are expected as the project moves into its next phase, but for now see below as to how the 3D modelling and texturing has developed:
