First ten race series announced for Revolution HyperSport owners

  • Ten championships or series across Europe and North America welcome the innovative new Revolution HyperSport

  • Thirty circuits, from Silverstone to Sebring, with sprint and endurance options

  • Revolution Racing League to be launched in 2027


Since the launch of the Revolution HyperSport, championship organisers across Europe and North America have welcomed the new two-litre 430bhp/tonne sports racer to their list of homologated cars.


With the first 20 build slots secured, and orders being taken for delivery ahead of the 2027 season, Revolution HyperSport owners will have the opportunity to race at some of the world's most celebrated circuits


Nigel Redwood, Managing Director, Revolution Race Cars, stated: “The Revolution HyperSport has been created not to be just driven quickly, but raced safely, competitively and reliably. Now, as HyperSport moves towards customer deliveries, Revolution is building an increasingly broad racing landscape around the car, with championships and events confirmed across Europe and North America, providing HyperSport owners with the passport to compete at some of the most famous circuits in the world.”


The first ten racing series and events across Europe and North America where the car is eligible have been announced. Together, those opportunities encompass more than 30 iconic circuits, giving customers in different markets a choice of racing close to home rather than requiring them to follow a single international championship.


In the UK and Europe, the confirmed Equipe Sports Prototypes programme provides a particularly strong foundation with two or three sprint races per weekend, further increasing the amount of competitive track time available to drivers in a friendly and welcoming arena.


Elsewhere in Europe, the potential opportunities become even more international.

The Supercar Challenge plans to build on its 2026 calendar of five Northern European circuits. Other European opportunities include France’s TTE Free Proto and the Portimão 6 Hours, with HyperSport eligibility already confirmed for the latter in a mixed grid of GT and prototype cars.


For a HyperSport driver, names such as Assen, Le Mans, Dijon and Zandvoort need little introduction. They are circuits steeped in racing history and are perfectly suited to the confidence-inspiring nimbleness of the HyperSport, and precisely the sort of venues that make owning a prototype sports car about more than simply racing.


For customers in North America, the picture is equally compelling with HyperSport eligible for six North American championship or racing opportunities, including Prototypes America (including the Revolution Cup North America), the Zenith Racing Series, FARA, NASA, HSR and WRL.


As with Europe, the appeal is as much about the circuits as the championships. This announcement means that HyperSport drivers can race at venues such as Sebring International Raceway, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen and Daytona: some of the most famous and historic venues in the world.


Designed to be driven

The Revolution HyperSport is built around the philosophy of ‘less downtime, more tracktime’ with easy serviceability making the car a strong value proposition for drivers and race ‘arrive and drive’ teams alike.


At less than 700kg dry and producing 430bhp per tonne, HyperSport delivers the performance expected of a serious prototype, while its carbon monocoque and FIA-tested safety architecture underpin Revolution's philosophy that high performance should be exhilarating, not intimidating.


Redwood added: “That philosophy matters particularly when we talk to promoters about eligibility for their events. The objective is not simply to create a car capable of setting a fast lap. It is to create a car that gives its driver the confidence to keep coming back, learning the circuit, improving their driving and ultimately fighting for results. This announcement gives owners the opportunity to live the dream of racing the world’s great circuits with a car that is futureproofed in terms of safety eligibility, support and technology.”



Revolution Racing League

As a step towards Revolution’s goal of having HyperSport Championships in several countries, the company has launched the Revolution Racing League. This is a ranking of Revolution drivers (including the 50+ drivers already enjoying the flagship Revolution 500 EVO and its sister models) across championships in multiple countries. The league table will be published monthly with prizes to be announced later this year.
