Riley secures Revolution Cup NA Trophy as Dennison and Posey shine at VIR
Racing with Autism driver, Austin Riley, secured the 2026 Revolution Cup North America Trophy at Virginia International Raceway, clinching the title with one round still to come at Circuit of the Americas on 5–8 November.
Having arrived at VIR unbeaten in Revolution Cup competition this season, Riley faced his toughest weekend of the campaign. A victory and a second-place finish added to his impressive points tally, but a broken driveshaft brought his winning run to an end and resulted in his first DNF of the year.
James Dennison has kept Riley under pressure in the standings throughout 2026, but Austin’s results at VIR were enough to put the title beyond reach. It is a fitting reward for a season defined by pace, consistency and an exceptional run of victories.

VIR also delivered a breakthrough for Dennison in Revolution Cup PS2. After collecting 12 podium finishes this year, James finally reached the top step to claim his first victory of the season. Having been a consistent contender throughout the campaign, that first win felt only a matter of time.
The weekend provided further evidence of an outstanding season for Rilli Racing, which runs both Riley and Dennison. The team’s professional preparation, facilities and approach have set an impressive standard in the paddock, with its results reflecting the work behind the scenes.
In Revolution Cup PS1, Jeff Posey enjoyed another great weekend, taking three wins from three races. Remarkably, VIR was only his third-ever road racing weekend following his move from grass track racing. Still learning with every outing, Posey’s clean sweep marked another significant step in his transition to circuit competition and moved him to third place in the overall standings.
Attention now turns to Circuit of the Americas on 5–8 November, where more than 10 Revolutions are expected to line up for the final round of the season. With Riley’s title secured, Dennison looking to build on his maiden win and Posey gathering momentum, the famous Texas circuit promises a fitting stage for the 2026 finale.
