Revolution celebrated a sensational end to the 2025 Equipe Sports Prototype Series at Silverstone on the National Circuit, as James Abbott delivered a grand slam performance behind the wheel of the Revolution 500 EVO. Abbott secured pole position, set the fastest lap in both races, won both races, and led every single lap — a rare feat in any form of motorsport.
Race 1: Wet-Weather Masterclass
The opening race began under dry conditions but quickly turned treacherous as rain swept across the circuit. Despite the changing grip levels, the field chose to remain on slicks, a decision that highlighted the incredible balance and control of the Revolution 500 EVO.
Abbott showcased supreme pace and consistency, lapping an incredible six seconds faster per lap than the rest of the field. As conditions worsened, the 500 EVO’s stability shone through, allowing Abbott to lap the entire field and take a commanding victory.

Race 2: Dry Domination
Saturdays second race, held in dry conditions, proved no less emphatic. Abbott stormed into the lead from the outset and never looked back, crossing the line 45 seconds ahead of the Norma in P2. The CTR01 and Praga R1 completed the top four — both finishing over a lap down on the dominant Revolution.
A Statement to End the Season
It was a fitting finale for the UK season, underscoring the Revolution 500 EVO’s performance, reliability, and pace. The Silverstone sweep marked one of the most dominant weekends in recent Equipe Sports Prototype Series history.
Next Stop: COTA, USA
Attention now turns across the Atlantic, where ten Revolutions are registered to compete in the final Prototype Sprint Series Association event at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) from 31 October to 2 November.
With a grid of more than 30 mixed prototypes expected, fans are eager to see whether Revolution can finish the year on an even higher note — and carry their unstoppable momentum into the American season finale.
